Santo Domingo is located in the southern extreme of the west-faced bay shore. It's a small sandy beach with easy access.
When it is windy, this is a great place for bumping, jumping and sailing because the swells become very steep.
This is also a very good place to race because it¡'s perhaps the spot that has the largest amount of good wind days in the entire bay.

-In December 2006 the first Kitesurfing National Championship was held here with great success.
